Great season Boilermakers. Tough loss against Kansas last night (thought we really had it) but still proud to be part of Purdue and all it stands for. Tribute to Robbie Hummel who will always be the standard for every new Boilermaker to live up to, guy is straight class & one hell of a basketball player

Ohio State: · ViewAll this hoola rah rah about Ohio State becoming relevant again this year. NOT SO FAST! My Boilermakers put an end to that last night and we came out with a big win in OT yesterday. Doesnt look like the Buckeyes are relevant at all…. and the whole country I think is happy about that!

This is a funny article. Now I know why the country is in the shape that its in.

Big start for the Boilermakers scoring quickly in Ann Arbor. Defense has to play well to keep us on track for the victory

Pittsburgh: · ViewThats a big loss of Graham goes down for awhile. He’s a force in the backfield for you guys
Graham hurt, but Pittsburgh rolls by UConn – USATODAY.comPITTSBURGH
(AP)–
Ray Graham lasted all of four plays against Connecticut before going down with a potentially serious right knee injury. After a week spent focusing on slowing down one of the nation’s top running backs, the Huskies never saw Tino Sunseri coming.Man, great win but at what price. He was our whole team. Hopefully we can rebound. Basketball cant come soon enough!
So, it is a month later and I come across the article aforementioned. I am still trying to get a grip on if Ray Graham’s injury negatively affected Pitt’s ability to win football games. As an extreme Pitt fan I was no doubt dazzled by Graham’s abilities, however, I am not sure that this team has necessarily faced a setback in it’s running game. This isn’t a knock against Graham’s value; it’s simply a testimony to how inducive the system is for running backs and how well Brown and Bennett have turned out to be. It should be especially encouraging to Pitt fans knowing that if something where to happen to 5 star recruit Rushel Shell, that Isaac Bennet appears to have some flash.
